10 Low Cost Ways To Improve Your Skin

10 Low cost Ways To Improve Your Skin

I’m a makeup lover, however, to have the best makeup application, your foundation aka your skin needs to be on point. The best part is, your skincare routine doesn’t have to break the bank! Here my 10 low cost tips I swear by to improve your skin. These tips can be added to your wellness and skincare routine.

1) Clean your makeup brushes at least once a week

After you do your makeup excess product is in your brushes, then that gets put back on to your face the next time you use the brush. Be sure to wash your brushes every 7 to 10 days.

2) Change/wash your pillowcases at least once a week

Dirt, bacteria, oils, sweat, and makeup collect on a pillowcase. You should change and wash your pillowcases at least once a week.

3) Brush your teeth before washing your face

Great for avoiding irritation from toothpaste that might fall on to your face.

4) Stay hydrated

Your skin is your largest organ so it’s only right to make sure it gets the hydration it needs. Drink at least 8 glasses (the more the better of course) of water and avoid sugary drinks.

5) Stop using towels on your face

A bathroom towel could be looking clean but in reality, a lot of dust, dirt, oil, bacteria, or even makeup build upon a cloth towel.

Once I learned this, I had to make the switch to and use Clean Skin Club‘s clean towels to combat this and I’ve been in LOVE. Try it and save using my code shanela to save on the towels and all their other skincare products!

6) Apply sunscreen everywhere

Helps to slows down and prevents premature aging, wrinkles, and uneven skin tones.

7) Get physically active

Sweating removes toxins which not only makes you feel better, it rejuvenates your skin. Exercise increases blood circulation, which gives the skin a healthy glow and plump appearance.

8) Sanitize your phone

We’re on our phones all the time then with that same hand, we touch our faces!!

Apple suggests Using a 70 percent alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes to gently wipe down your phone once every few days. Since the rise of Coronavirus, we should do so daily.

9) Get 7 or 8 hours of sleep

It’s important for your overall health and wellbeing, but getting your beauty rest is no joke. Your skin needs time to rejuvenate itself and allow the damaged cells to repair.

10) Spread your skincare down to your neck, hands, and feet

Of course, we’re worried about our face, but all these parts show signs of aging before your face!

Now you’re off to have the best, glowing skin ever. Remember, your improving your skin is a process and it’s possible to see results quickly. But, for the best results sure to implement these tips for 3 months or longer. What’s your go-to skincare tip? Comment below and let me know!
